        Load bar alloy - 6063-T6          Cross bar alloy - 6060-T6

Spans in bold type have a deflection of less than 5mm for uniformly distributed loads of 4kPa, which is the maximum deflection for pedestrian comfort. The spacing of the bars when used for walkways is 30mm and the cross rods is 100mm, the rods in these instances will be located in the upper section of the bar.

All other spans not in bold can at the engineers discretion be used for other loads.

When serrated bars are used in the manufacture of panel an additional 5mm should be added to the nominated bar depth.

the loads and deflections shown in the above tables are in accordance with AS1657-1992, fabrication and welding standards should conform to AS1664 and AS1665.
